I'll be leaving Friday night, probably, and stay overnight in southern Michigan. From there I will depart around 6 or 7 am and should arrive around 10 - 10-30 in Detroit. _________________ John Medema

The field for the 1st Hockeytown Battle has just become much tougher...
We have added several Hall of Fame players to the event, a one-time DTHL league night winner, and the President....
11. Ivan Sanislo - The Master
12. Sidney Stutz - this is Sidney's first tournament in awhile, but he was the driving force for Table Hockey in the 1970's and 1980's... All of the table hockey community should be glad to see him back in action, except those that have to play againist him....
13. Pat Armstrong - 1-Time DTHL League night Champion....
14. Ron Marsik - it has been 24 years since Ron's last visit to Detroit for a table hockey event.
15. Eric Krol - The USTHA President in-person....
We only have 5 spots left...The field is getting better each day...last tournament of the year.... |

I appreciate that, but I'm about 50-50. Will let you know in plenty of time so someone else can take the spot.
Congrats on your success drawing so far. |

| This will be a big stepping stone in Michigan table hockey history like the DTHL season has already accomplished. I am sad that I cannot come home to take part in this great event, ...but if I have it my way,...I'll be there?! |

Paul
If you make it we will find a spot for you and your son.....
We now have 16 signed-up Kyle Koeing (Rookie) signed the other day, he is also going to the US Open so this will be good expereince for him......
Eric K is going to Montreal and is 50/50 for the Battle, but he will find away. His honey-do list will become very tough....
We did bump the number of players we can have to 20, thanks to the games you are sending us....
We need some people from Windsor or Southern Ont.
Go Wings............................. |

That's what it looks like on Table hockey Tavern, but the link given doesn't work. It turns into a post on the message boards instead of an email. I sent the address to him. _________________ John Medema

If the Red Wings pull it out of the fire on time, this event could co-incide with a tremendous-looking Stanley Cup final.
I'd like to drive down for it, only I can't really swing it. Mutek is on in Montreal, and I haven't figure out how to bilocate just yet.
Good luck! |
