I have FINALLY created the Stiga slot layout on CAD and had a clear ice sheet made for it. This thin sheet of "ice" now allows you to customize your Stiga rink to be whatever team you're using. The ice is easily transferable from one game to another so if your Stiga game is broken and needs replaced you just remove the players and the nets and it comes right up. You can put this directly over your regular Stiga ice sheet and it does not hinder the game play at all. It is that thin. So you can now put whatever logos you want onto your Stiga ice sheet, put this custom ice sheet over it and you have instantly created a home ice for your team. You can also get a plain ice rink printed (to replace the Stiga rink) with just the lines and circles on it and add your logos to it, put the custom ice over the top of it and you're done (I can do these for an additional cost if you are interested). I will not print ice sheets with logos so please do not ask. All logos are licensed and I'm not crossing that path. If you're interested in the "RM Custom Ice Sheet" I'm selling them for $28 + shipping and handling. I know many of you live in Canada and other parts of the world so I will do my best to ship them anywhere. I will only charge you what it costs me to ship them. I will not make money on the shipping. All shipping costs include USPS and proof of delivery. I accept PayPal and money orders only.

I was trying to have this in time for the 2010 Keystone Table Hockey League this year but it didn't work out time wise. I will however have the NJ Devils rink for the 2011 season though!

E-mail me at: raiderman110@hotmail.com if you're interested in one. If you have questions please post them here because others might have the same questions. Thanks.

I will post pictures. I'm waiting to get my Devils underlay done for underneath it. Then I'll post a bunch of photos of it. Thanks for your interest.

You must have spent an awful lot of time with all the measuring and programming a job like that would require. Glad to hear you are happy with the results Cool Cool

Yeah, it was a very time consuming project. I work on CAD for a living and I was blessed to have a summer intern for five weeks. That kept him busy for 3 of the 5 weeks! LOL! He did it though and it came out great.

Photos are coming tomorrow (Friday).

OK! The photo thing has me annoyed but I posted the photos to my Facebook account. You can view them at:

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1016577&id=1633952599

Let me know if it doesn't work.

Keep in mind that the NJ Devils ice rink shown on the photos is my personal one. I will NOT have ice sheets printed out with licensed logos. Not crossing that bridge. I will however be happy to let you know how to make your own and you can print your own logos for you personal use. I will sell the clear ice sheets ($28 + shipping and handling) and I will be happy to print hockey ice sheets to slide under the clear ice sheets. We can do custom rinks for your tournament, league etc. The price of those depends on the amount of graphic work that goes into your design. Check out the photos. Any questions you have post them to this thread in case someone has the same question they can see the answer. Please e-mail me if you're interested in ordering one (some). Thanks.

Wow. That's a nice looking set up RM Clapping Clapping

Very clean.

How does it hold out during game play?

Ever think of doing something like that with Benej, Munro, Coleco 2D players?

I can pretty much do it with any type game. Although I would only do a Benej and sell them through Rick unless he wanted me to do it on my own. Some day I will have a Benej and my personal one will have this type of set up. I am a little anal at having my home field/ice match my team. I came up with a system that allows me to do that in Electric Football too. So this was a little easier because I didn't have to worry about the vibrations. All I had to worry about this was the slickness of it BUT Turtle Wax helped me with that! Wink

I might be interested , have an idea for what I would like on the sheet (like league logo and stadium name).

Curious to see how smooth the sheet is to the Stiga sold ones

Kevin,

It's as smooth a piece of glass. Once it gets waxed with the turtle wax it's even smoother than a Stiga sheet.

I imagine the Novus polish that Benej recommends for his games would also work well for giving slickness.
