I have a short version Munro and I am wanting a ruling on if the puck does not go all the way around the net and stops?
Is it a face off or does it go get pushed back to the player?
Hoping someone can respond before tonight.

Thank you.

Hi Durham;

In the W.C.T.H.L. West Coast Table Hockey League in Surrey BC we play on the Munro 2212 games, and when the puck goes behind the net, we have a face - Off to the side it is at. We also have 3x3 Min. Periods. I hope that helps.

Hi Antonio,

In the TTTHC we had center ice face offs last year. We use stop time, so we found that the games were taking too long. It helps the defense to gain possession back after the face off.

This year, in order to speed the games up, we push it over to either winger. It helps the offense to retain possession.

We review the rules after each season to try to improve the league.

In the WTHA (World Table Hockey Association, Hegewisch, IL) they push the puck over to either winger.

There is no hardend rule for this situation. I suggest that you do whatever fits best for your league.
