A bit of local press for the SNAC and the CAGA league...

http://www.hometownlife.com/article/20110313/NEWS10/103130490/Table-hockey-league-hosts-championships-Livonia?odyssey=mod|newswell|text|Livonia|s

I think I sent out the press release to two dozen newspapers/TV stations up there. So far, i think this is the only one to bite. But who knows...maybe some TV cameras will show up on Saturday...the google maps of the venue/hotel show it seems to be located right near some of the TV headquarters in the Detroit area.

Still time to get in on the action: http://www.snactablehockey.com

Still room in my car and the tournament.

7 of the top 10 US, woo hoo!

The Madison Resistance will be bringing the full energy of revolution to Detroit. We resisted before it was cool.

Look out for young gun Boyle. I've been boyled many a time over the last few months. He is very very hungry.

Travel safe gentlemen. See you in 4 days.

Cheers

Of course that is going by the USTHA ranking. If you go by the WR then it's only 5 of the top 10 and perhaps only 2 if Dubois and Caponetti were still playing. But who's counting. Good luck everyone.

nahhhhh. i'm taking my talents to nyc and play some yellow stick hockey with Len and that gang. i've never played metal men/plastic stick before so it should prove an interesting challenge.

and had I been able to devote a full weekend of travel for table hockey, it would have been in toronto.

Happy Birthday Eric! Barely legal, right?

Also, Happy 45th anniversary of one of the acid tests on this date in 1966. Enjoy, and good luck one and all!
