Mr. John Labianca has signed to play in the Stiga U.S. Open.
Always a pleasure to see this skilled player from Las Vegas at a tournament. And he's come back several years in a row. We consider that high praise for the great table hockey weekend we try to offer each year.
There's room for plenty more on both the Coleco and Stiga games.
The action takes place on July 22 and July 23.
The details are here: http://lemonttablehockey.com |

We had Dean Moore of the OVTHL sign up today.
He's an intense, up-and-coming player.
Could be more OVTHLers in the mix too.

Good morning everyone. After yesterday's news about Mr. Burt Brassard signing up to play the Stiga/Coleco U.S. Open weekend (or Coleco/Stiga, if you prefer), we've got three more players confirmed this morning.
Happy to announce the OVTHL invasion continues this summer at the Stiga U.S. Open weekend. Mike Hubbard and Dave Wright are joining Dean Moore in coming from Hookstown, PA. Previously, Eric Dibacco of the OVTHL has made the trek numerous times and now his league-mates are joining him this year.
I played Mike in Detroit in March and he was much improved from playing him in Binghamton in November. Strong defense and he can really make some plays on offense. Tough competitor who plays the full five minutes and doesn't let up. Kinda like Reggie S. from Edmonton that way...don't take your foot off the gas or boom!
We've got room for more of ya in both the Stiga and Coleco events.

Yes, Eric, I would say Mike Hubbard and Paul Shabi are probably the two players in NA who have improved the most over the past year!

Hello everybody.
We're starting to prep for the Coleco/Stiga U.S. Open weekend that's about six weeks away.
For starters, we've updated the web site's player list with the initial dozen Stiga players and 8 for Coleco. We expect those lists will continue to grow in the coming weeks.
One of the things we're most proud of is how many players continue to come back year after year to the events. We take that as a sign that people have a great time playing and can't wait to get back for some more the following year. It's allowed us to maintain a consistent level of participation over the years. Last year, we drew about a half-dozen new players at the last minute and I can remember how happy they looked all day.
You can check out the player list here: http://www.lemonttablehockey.com/usopen/playerlist/index.htm

We've had a couple more players sign up for the Stiga USOpen.
The OVTHL will be represented by Dean Moore and Dave Wright. And there might be another player or two coming from the Greater Pittsburgh Area.
There's plenty of space for you to join us on July 21 (with a July 20 Coleco event for those of you bi-table players).

We're pleased to announce that Paul Shabi, a very talented young Stiga player, has signed up to play in the Stiga U.S. Open once again.
Registrations continue to roll in, and we've updated the player list. You can check it out here:
http://www.lemonttablehockey.com/usopen/playerlist/index.htm
The Stiga tournament will be held on Saturday, July 21.
Room for plenty more of ya. A shortage of games has never been a problem at the Stiga U.S. Open.
We've also got spots left in the Coleco U.S. Open, which will take place Friday, July 20. |

Hello. We are happy to announce that the Stiga U.S. Open once again will be part of the HTQ (Quebec province Coleco tour), now known as the Classic Table Hockey Series. See below for more on this.
This year we are changing our HTQ ("Hockey sur Table Québec") to CTHS (Classic Table Hockey Series). However, we will still be under the HTQ domain and competing for the "Quebec Cup", with the Quebec format and rules.
This season we are looking at Chicago (July), Montreal (Sept. or Oct.), New York (Nov. or Dec.), Quebec (Feb.), Detroit (March) and Montreal again in April 2013. That would make a total of 6 events, and the point system will include the best 3 scores of every participant, even if they play in more than 3 events, like it's been the case in the past.

Happy to have Mike Hubbard of the OVTHL signed up for the Stiga US Open on July 21.
Mike is one of the more improved Stiga players out there. Believe he made it to the finals in Binghamton earlier this year.
Expecting some more signups this week to push the player count higher.
Come on out and join us. It'll be a good time in a cool gymnasium. You won't even notice it's been pushing 100 for a few days in Chicago. :-p |
