Hello everyone my name is Pat and I live in Indiana. Let me say it is a pleasure to be in the company of like minded people. I am an old time hockey fan and played in my youth just as most of you. Newbie at all this stuff I have missed in the last 30-35yrs. I suppose I should call myself a Newtimer! Yes I guess that is what I am a "Newtimer". Never played a Stiga, probably less than 6 games ever on an arcade bubbletop and never played a custom game. Have some catching up to do Don't I ? Love old collectable toys so I have started with vintage games of our youth. It's all your fault for getting me drooling with pics and stories! Well not all your fault, partially Ebays and a few beers also Very Happy What I have ended up with is mostly Munro's because that was what was out there I could afford. I did have more than a couple beers and ended up with some Coleco's also. That is another story. Will get some pics posted soon because they are pretty clean and some are not yet listed on this sites Game photos. Cheers to all of you for being here! Pat.

Welcome - Munro is a fun game because of its metal-on-metal gears, metal men, and wood puck. No shame in playing Munro.

FYI what I have (had) are 4 MUNRO'S. 1965 All Star or something like that, beater shape, worn surface, rusty. We all played on it cause we figured we could not hurt it any worse. 25.00 bucks and I only bid on it because it was a town away so I picked it up! #2 table gave us something to upgrade on. 1967 National Hockey in a box that is complete and clean. Montreal and Toronto you know. Third table was a 69-70 Hot Shot model very clean with box. My friend took that one because it took up less space and was short and easy to score on. Set him up real good because now everyone does not have come to my house. Sorry Rich! #4 table is a Hatrick Hockey about 1971 with plastic men. Rangers/Wings with away jerseys. Real nice and clean. This is going to another friend who is helping me level the ice right now. So that is how I started a small tournament with some friends. Looking for some more players and getting ready to set up my Coleco's. Maybe we can hide our teenagers Ipods and get them to play. Has'nt happened yet. I think they are scared!

Hi John, I live in South Bend. Just under the shadows of that tarnished dome. Sorry you Chicago ND fans have to come to my town and see that mess. Much rather come to Chicago and see the Blackhawks lose. At least I would be in Chicago! Smile

Keep an eye on ebay, will help you get a feel for prices, then check out Kijiji. Persistence should pay off. Vintage hockeys best games (in my opinion come from eagle. Good luck.
