Thanks for all the kind words and well wishes. We tried very hard to make it an enjoyable tournament. I must note that there were a lot of people involved in helping out in many different ways; too many to mention them all by name. This couldn't have happened without everyone pitching in.

And, John Cooke, what do you mean by "was". I'm old, but I'm not sure that I'm comfortable being referred to in the past tense. I'm still alive, you know. lol

Side note: It was good seeing old friends & meeting a few new ones too. Relaxing and chatting with players at breakfast and after the tournament was also a good part of this weekend. I even managed to keep pace with the Madison guys well into the wee hours of the morning. Cheers [/b]

I do hope to get to Montreal someday. That is Pierre Chastenais' turf. His Rose Bowl Stiga Tournament is held every year at the end of May or beginning of June. I think it is the longest running of all the existing Stiga Tourneys in North America.

Pierre's tournament is a lot of fun with great competition. He's been doing it a while and knows how to run the show.

And Montreal is a really, really fun place. There's that one downtown avenue with the bars/restaurants lined up on either side of the street...c'est magnifique.

The tournament tends to fall on the same weekend as my youngest guy's birthday, so I'm dealing with b-day parties and waiting to hear results.

Hello all. The round robin standings and the game-by-game playoff results for the SNAC 2012 and Motor City Classic 5380 tournaments are now online. You can view them here:

Something I didn't notice until entering them tonight: Alain Gamache and Eric Desjardins drove all that way, only to play each other in both the Coleco and the Stiga playoffs. How about that.

...well JOHNNY LABS you won't find any of those tables in store near you ...cause they've been design and built it from SCRATCH!!! ...for the 1991-92 season, we design(i say "WE" but i wasn't even in the league when they did it...)...the guys from the comitee of the league at that time did the whole design things of the tables and players ...i know that they wanted a defenseman that could go a bit more in offense so they did it ...they put it on paper and then give it to a carpenter who realize it!!! ...and we use the 3-d players from the COLECO TABLE!!!
