| JUST RETURNED FROM THE TOURNAMENT ON THE BENEJ BOARD IN ALMA QUEBEC, ABOUT SIX HOURS NORTH OF MONTREAL, IN THE BEAUTIFUL LAC ST-JEAN REGION. IT WAS GREAT TO SEE MR. RICK BENEJ AGAIN AFTER A LONG TIME, EVEN GREATER TO SEE HIM WIN THE C DIVISION TROPHY, IT WAS A THRILL FOR ALL OF US TO WATCH HIM PLAY HIS GAME. THE TOURNAMENT WAS ORGANIZED BY CLAUDE LAVOIE, AND IT WAS AN AMAZING TOURNAMENT AND WEEKEND. GREAT HOTEL, AMAZING REGION, PRETTY GIRLS, AND OVERALL GREAT PEOPLE. THE CHAMPIONSHIP WAS WON BY MARIO QUELETTE, IN HIS FIRST TRY ON THE LATEST BENEJ INCARNATION, AMAZING PERFORMANCE BEATING CLAUDE LAVOIE IN AN AMAZING FINALS, WITH THE TWO FIRST GAMES GOING INTO O.T.. I REALLY ENJOYED PLAYIN ON THE BENEJ GAME, AS DID ALL THE GUYS FROM MONTREAL WHO FARED GREAT ON FIRST TRY ON THIS BOARD. WE WILL START A LEAGUE IN THE FALL IN MONTREAL TO GO ALONG WITH OUR COLECO. I spoke to Rick Benej about the event actually... he was thrilled. Called it, "the highlight of his table hockey career!" ... so hat's off to the organizers and all the players who were involved. Rick felt that the people, the calibre of play, the format were all first class!
Is there a site or any more information available about the full results?
Any photos?
I will add a youtube link here later, as Rick is sending me that soon. Sounds like it was an amazing fun day for everyone! Can't wait to get one of the new Benej games. |

Looking forward to Alma # 3 April 20 , 2013 . I understand there will be even more players this year than last . Im sure Claude will have everything justttt right .  |

| Getting close to 50 players signed up for the biggest Benej event . 63 days and counting . Everything first class and the board creator will be there again this year .Who will be be the crowned the best Benej player in the world ? |

Hi Ken ,
Ive been given permission to pass along and tout interesting info regarding this tournament by the organizer as I receive it . Ive inquired about the same thing , I believe there working on it . Three Americans in so far. 48 players in total . Claude Lavoie is the man . Im looking forward to a top shelf venue , and TH fun . |
