Just join the site and recently picked up a munro all star hockey game dated 1963. The game came with the original metal montreal and toronto players. Does anyone know what other players fit the munro games from the 1960's like coleco ect.........Also looking for the Philadeplia Flyers metal munro players and the inserts for the score board pucker dropper for the game . The score board puck dropper has a clear red tined almost heart shaped center. A picture of the game is on this site with the munro game photos..... I just picked up the game to bring back memories when I was a child. Now my children are hooked on this game also.....

Welcome to TableHockeyHeaven Potsy 58. Smile

To help with your question. One of the places to look for parts for the Munro game is on eBay. I don't think other players will work on the game. If your game has the red or white things with the metal players then only metal players will work. If the game has the plastic players then those work as well. My two cents on this would be to go on eBay or find some place anywhere not too far too look for the players, pucks, parts, etc. for your Munro game for whatever type of the game it is. That is what I have to say. Cool

Good Luck!

1963 is the most recent patent date on all Munro games. If it has the transparent red tint puck dropper, it is more likely to be mid to late 1960's.
The model number will give you the date of the game. The second number indicates the year it came out in the 60's. Example: Model # 973 would be a 1967 model. A Model #956 would be 1965.

The Munro games only take Munro players, unless you try to force a metal Eagle player onto the peg. It can be done, but not recommended.

Usually with the missing or broken parts, your best bet would be to keep an eye out on ebay.

You should come out to TTTHC night sometime since you are from Chicago. My place is easy to find. Depending where you are in the city, should be more or less an hour drive to Tinley Park. You'll have a ball and meet a lot of great guys that love the game. This Sat night is our next meeting date.
