For now we in Victoria are cutting back to one event a year & the 2012 Championship is this Sunday the 5th.

Great day of table hockey in Victoria on Sunday!
The very tight round robin ended like this:
1 Mike 10-2
2 Shawn 7-5
3 Harvey 5-7
4 Noel 4-8
5 Diana 4-8
Strange stat of the day. Mikes only 2 loses in the round robin came against 5th place Diana.
In the final Harvey beat Mike to become our 2012 champion!
congrades to Harv, now go double up & take the Stiga championship in Vancouver!
See you all in January 2013 !!!!

Thanks, Shawn! And thanks again to you and Diana on hosting yet another terrific season!
Yes. Yesterday was a great day of table hockey. Whether I won it or not, it was by far the best outing of Coleco that our current group has been involved with. Everyone played well and was competitive on the day.
I too would like to applaud Diana for being the only one to beat Mike in the prelims ...twice ...that's two more losses to a girl for Chorko ..hehe! He's used to by now. We are all used to it now ..losing to likely the best female Coleco player anywhere. If there is another top female player out there, come dance with Diana! 
Yeah, a double crown by winning Stiga in Vancouver would be sweet! But I may need to travel to Edmonton to train with my friends there to pull that off?? We'll see.
Looking forward to next season/year!

Thanks! In the playoffs, I used a strategy which I will call Stigaleco. 
You'll have to try and get over here for the next tournament.

Maybe one day I will get out there again. I suspect I would
