FTHC Tournaments 2013-14 Guidelines/Info:

Game(s) - Wayne Gretzky Overtime Table Hockey Games from the 1990's (4 Games) featuring the Wales and Campbell NHL All-Stars and the Original 6 Teams.

Format: (Explained back on the first post) Each tourney date features a single round robin, establish seedings, then players are placed into playoff brackets setting up best of 3 playoff rounds. Medallions/Medals provided to the winners and participants of that tourney date.

To Do List:
1) Get The Games and: Pinstripe, Level, Clean, and Oil the games (Also get some net deflectors and score keepers)
2) Create the T-Shirts and receive them
3) Order the medals (Probably need about 24-32 or something or I myself go to my local trophy store) Cool
4) Trophies for the end of season (Admin and Co-Admin, Player of the Year, Points overall championship, etc.)
5) Create Flyers
6) Get consent from the School Clubs Director and Hand out Flyers.

Regards,
Paul S.

The Flyers were created in 1967, so cross that off your list. Laughing

Jay, I meant "Promotional Flyers" for people that are interested in joining the table hockey club, not the "Flyers" as in the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL. LOL! But thanks though!

Because they are what I believe the most popular in Canadian minds and my mind. And they are the straight slot games and apparently I find STIGA too challenging.

Surely it's others who find it too challenging? You're lethal on Stiga, probably rounding into the best US player since Dubois.

Stephen,

I believe that the Gretzky game, I have NEVER played it. But I am hoping I have a game for my club/venture where I am not so Dominant at it. Just saying.

Paul may be on to something. Having the vision to create anything requires a little uncertainty, but I think that his choice of the Gretzky game will create a little excitement.
The first ever Gretzky tourney was held in Ontario over the summer! A good sized group (either 17 or 19 I think) attended the inaugural event, and it wAS A HOOT!!!!
Many Gretzky games are still out there, and they are sturdy so they last long enough to be tried out by the die-hards in leagues or mini events.
The 3D players are still the most beautiful design, and seem to be quite collectable by a huge group of both table hockey nuts and NHL fans.

It is a very universal game, easy to understand, but also allows for the more creative plays (much like the Stiga 3D figure).

Good on ya, Paul! Hope to see this idea grow this year.

Hello TH Fans!

FTHC Tournaments could be possibly going into a change of games this year.

FTHC Tournaments is going into a change of games by switching into STIGA Play-Off Games featuring STIGA International Players.

More info soon to follow! Basic club info as mentioned before above.
STIGA Play-Off Games with International Players (Teams Canada and USA)
Goal Cups and THP (Table Hockey Pro) net deflectors and THP Pucks.
