So I'd like to get a Gretzky hockey table. The problem however is there are apparently several different versions and no one concise location for information on all of them.

I don't know which one to get.

I want it to play. It'll be part of a collection, yes, but overall, the main purpose by far is to play it. I've come across gretzky overtime hockey, gretzky all stars, and gretzky all stars deluxe versions. As far as I can tell, the difference in these games is the producers, and size of playing surfaces and players. The later versions (the all star versions) also had the feet drilled differently.

What I want to know is this: What are the different versions and what are the differences? Is there any difference in the sizes of the playing surfaces and the players or the way they handle the puck, and, in your opinion which is the superior PLAYING version. This'll be the only gretzky game I get, so I want to make the right decision.

Jeff

There is a smaller and a larger Gretzky game.

You want the larger one.

Yeah but which one is which? The only place to really get these for me is eBay and they never specify "this is the larger version." Do you have a pic of the one your recommending, or a pic of the box?

Overtime is the larger. All Star is a bit smaller.
Since the puck bounces like a pinball machine at times, you'll want the larger version.

You'll find a lot of information here:

Hello all. We’ve posted the latest issue of The Score, the USTHA-CTHA online newsletter.

We’ve got four stories this time out: a league profile on the Eastern Iowa Table Hockey League, a player profile on Dr. Kevin Rafferty, a look at the Gretzky game by Jeff Mancini and a feature story on making plays with the left wing.

You can see the newsletter here: http://usthactha.wordpress.com/

Password for this issue is: thescoredecember14

Happy holidays,
