Hey gang,

I'm happy to announce that I'm planning a Munro portion of the Canada Cup Stiga Event the weekend of November 6-8 2015.

The venue hasn't been confirmed yet but I will as soon as I know.

I do have a few questions and I will place them in a time limited poll.

Question 1.

Do you want the event on the Friday night or do you want it on the Sunday?

Question 2.

We will be playing on the Bobby Orr/Bobby Hull Gold Cup series of Munro games.
Would you prefer the:
A) Roller Puck

B) Wood Puck

You can reply here or my email at torontotablehockey at g mail . com

or the poll associated with this post.

Regards
Dave

Matt Ross and I played Orr with a roller puck and a Tudor/Munro NHLPA with wood puck yesterday. Wood puck plays Great on Orr but, I would vote
Munro roller puck, if I had a vote and I don't so, sorry to waste your time.

Nice to see Matt again,
Andrew
PS Nice to play TH too.

Sept. 6th,

After a brief consensus of which puck to use, the response was overwhelming.

The roller puck won out over the wood puck by an average of 3-1for the Munro portion of the event.

I'm still working on a location close to the Newmarket event so that there isn't allot of travel between events.
I would love to have both events under one roof but I need a coordinated effort to do this.

I hope that my American table hockey friends will consider joining the events this year as there hasn't been a better time for travelling since early 2000s, as the Canadian dollar is worth almost $1.25 U.S.

I hope you all will make plans to join this year.

Dave

Munro Event update:

Due to some unforeseen events and activities in my life, I regret to inform you all that the Munro event that I wanted to host in conjunction with the Stiga event will not be taking place.
In order for this to have happened required the cooperation of the person putting on the Stiga Event.
Host Eugene was more then willing to participate, but the event facilitator was and is unwilling to cooperate in a joint venture which would see a larger participation at the events.

I sincerely regret this and hope that those who attend the Stiga event will convey their thoughts on this issue.

Sincerely
Dave
