Great excitement mounting for Sat. Oct. 17, as the annual SOHO Cup brings some of North America's top table hockey talent together for what promises to be an exciting showdown! last year, Friday was kept for a Bobby Orr Munro event, with Soho Coleco being played on Saturday.

In a great show of camaraderie, this year the players were polled to decide whether to play on Friday, or take a guided tour together to see some of what New York offers. The group is meeting on Friday morning, and now has at least half a dozen locations booked for everyone to get together for some social mingling before we 'drop the gloves' on Saturday. Should be awesome!

Tourney host John Fayolle extends the invitation to others who want to get in on this. www.sohotablehockey.com

Hello folks,

I just want to add that table hockey goes together with New York like Peanut butter and Jam.
This event is billed as the must attend event of the year.

John has taken great strides in redeveloping and expanding table hockey in the New York area. Along side his friend John Power, the two have a larger and growing population for the love of the sport in New York.

This weekend looks to be an even better event with the addition of the pre-tournament festivities of New York.

If you ever wanted to go to New York and experience the ambiance as well as play some great table hockey, then this weekend is the weekend to do it.

Hope to see you there.

Wow...what an event!
After being treated to a grand tour of NY by tournament host John Fayolle on Friday, it was time to get to business on Saturday.
A great day of fun ensued, with more games in the morning than one would expect. ..and some amazing performances of table hockey skill.

The A division standings are as follows. Carlo, Sam, Gino.
B-pool: Lou Marinoff, Mark S, Shawn Redmond,
C Pool: Tony Sciacca, AJ Sarma, Peter Anoussis

you HAVE TO SEE the finals between Carlo and Sam. I have never seen Sam play so well and with such incredible speed and accuracy. (*try a slow mo video or you will never know what he does!)
SAM was awesome. CARLO, wow. ..he proved why he is the King in this tourney. He trailed and clawed back repeatedly. ..and wins each in overtime. Unreal play by both gents. Best table hockey ever! Best table hockey games I have ever played on too!
See www.sohotablehockey.com to see the videos.

Thanks to John for hosting this superb event. Put NY on your bucket list of table hockey hopes for the future
