OK...Dave Kraehling is now listed on the Stiga player list as well. That brings us to 45 for Stiga, with three weeks to go. While there's always the prospect of cancellations and no-shows, we're in great shape. There also are 20 for Coleco.

And with this combined trophy, I thought it would be fun to take a look at who the contenders are. Here are my thoughts, in no particular order:

*Kraehling: obviously great at Coleco and will probably be in the final four and could be the winner. No idea of his Stiga skill level.

*Rzonca: will do well in the Coleco tournament and very well at the Stiga tournament. Certainly a top contender for that trophy.

*Jeff Thill: very skilled at Coleco (5340) and an A pooler in Stiga at the Open.

*Joe Salazar: very underrated in the CTHL and usually makes the A pool

*John Power: should make the Stiga A pool and he knows his Coleco.

*Greg Scoma: knows his Coleco as well and plays in a tough Coleco league. 5380 is his game. Not sure how much Stiga he's played.

*Dan Lord: dangerous on any TH game because of his ability to score. An A pooler the last couple years at the Open. A local Coleco star and was hyped about the prospect of an s-slot tournament.

*Rich Thill: an A pooler in the Coleco but has been a C pooler in Stiga.

*Bernie Kunzler: obviously a final four contender for Stiga. I have no idea of his skill level at Coleco.

Man, this one should be interesting....

At this point, I'm thinking Rzonca or Thill. Smile

"Super Dave" Kraehling is the favorite for the Coleco so he and i think Jeff Thill are sitting pretty as the favorites right now as the lists of both events stand.

I'm talking about the current players on the list. I didn't see Kenny's name listed...When Kenny gets on the players list, which I hope he does, then Kenny will be my selection.

As the list stands now, I could Rzonca finishing in the top four of both. Will that be enough to offset Super Dave's potential top 2 in Coleco?
