Its tough enough finding the 3.75 inch wide nets that are stock with the 5340 games, but I have yet to find a deflector for these nets.

In and outs are a huge problem and it cost one of my players a very important match last week when an in and out was not Mad acknowledged.

Does/Can anyone make deflectors for these nets? We like to have at least six pair by our playoffs on April 4th. Any ideas? Shocked

Please email me if you can help a brother out Rasta

Thanks!

Hi John,

Off the top - I don't make deflectors.

You can make a rough and dirty deflector using acrylic, a heat gun and scroll saw or dremel tool. You need to come up with a basic form to suit the net. Heck, you could even use fibreboard if you had to.

You can even deflect the puck into a small box or cream cheese container. It won't be elegant - but if it comes to April and you're in a jam, you could pull out a few in a couple of hours once you decide the shape you want.

Hopefully someone can step up for you and your gang.
