Good day,

I just ordered a Benej from Rick last week and am awaiting its arrival like a little kid at Christmas.

One question I have is based around the nets. are the nets plastic or metal? and if they are plastic, has anyone tried building a metal net?

I just think the puck would sound pretty cool ringing off the iron, although i suppose it probably would damage the pucks pretty quick.

I'd probably be too afraid to deface the Benej for a while anyways but I am just curious.

Thanks
Sheldon

The older Benej games nets were made with real netting. With a piece of clear lexan inside of the goal that would act as the puck deflector. With the "New" Table Top game the net is really a piece of Lexan with netting printed on it. So the goal itself is one big puck deflector.

Ok thats fair, I would have thought that actual netting would be a good solution to reduce the in and outs, but I guess thats why i'm a rookie with this stuff.

Thanks for the info.

Bobby 21, do you still customize teams?
