Here's a direct link to a Versus Scoreboard:

http://www.krunker.com/2009/01/05/versus-scoreboard-digital-scoreboard-meets-boombox/

It's cool. I like the microphone. It's a portable, party scoreboard. The price is okay too.

I've played around and think I've perfected the guts for TH scoreboards, but they aren't worth designing and building for anything under that price. Video of it in action might be cool to see!!!

Looks pretty good to me. Wish it wasn't quite so large but it has all the features I need.

Rangers94 - can you shed some additional info that their site doesn't cover? I'm curious on the timer - does it give an audible horn when the clock gets to 0?

Also it mentions the SFX card with 20 sport's themed sound effects - does your league use the cheering/tauting feature?

Thanks
Jeff

Yes, it sounds a loud horn at the end of each period. I haven't really touched it enough to know how to set all the options, but whenever you advance the score for the "away" team you hear "booos" and I think "cheers" for the home team ?? Also every time you start or stop the clock, you hear a refs whistle blow.

There are other sounds built in and I'm pretty sure you can even make your own if you want !!

As far as the size goes, we feel it's perfect and they keep it right over the game on a shelf so everyone can see all the information.

I've been looking for some kind of score board for a long time now and this is the best I've seen, our league is strictly a "Benej" league and we really like the way it looks with the game as well !!

Good luck !!

If only that baby could fit inside a Coleco-sized Gondola score tower! Cool

Thanks Rangers94 - sounds like it would be a great addition. Currently we use a talkin' timer and would love to upgrade over that.

It appears they are out of stockin the US - maybe they will restock before Dec 25.
