Would anyone be aware if STIGA has made the Buffalo Sabres with the traditional logo and NOT the slug? My search online only comes up with the ugly slug. I'm hoping to find the nice sword in the circle logo.

Thanks!

I think you're out of luck there. Maybe when they get around to doing Buffalo in their 3rd-generation NHL figure. Who knows when that will be?

My best suggestion sunnymite is that you buy a plain white STIGA Team for now. On tablehockeyshop.com. Buy either the International players (left handed) or the NHL style players (left and right handed). Then you can paint the Buffalo Sabres uniform that you are thinking about. Good luck with that and good luck with finding someone to help you paint your players if you choose to go this direction.

Best of luck! Very Happy

Yes you are out of luck on factory Stiga Sabres team. They've only made the slug logo and before that the red and black unis.

To Paul's point you could always take a shot at painting your own team. There are numerous good posts here with details that would answer most of the basic painting questions.

I did a set of Irwin Sabres a while back http://tablehockeyheaven.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=21712&highlight=#21712.

For the most part the jerseys weren't too bad to replicate - the only issue I encountered was that I had to make a custom paint mix to get the blue right. I use Testor's Model Master paints and they don't have a bright blue like that straight out of the bottle.

Let us know how it goes!
