I was looking on eBay for coleco games and came across a guy selling a 1968 "hockey champ" table. It looks to be more of a pinball game than table hockey but it was cool to see the precursor to things like Super Chexx. I found a video on YouTube of one, not sure if its the same one that's for sale but it gives you an idea of how it worked. Very reto and cool.

Almost reminds me of the WGN article today about the Bobby Orr pinball machine.

imo, more TH than pinball but, not TH as it's not truely mechanical.

(what exactly is TH, stationary or slot TH, is largely subjective).

This game came with 3 variations of knobs;

2 small buttons to move all players left or right,

2 large buttons "

a swivel lever like control.

Like most, almost all, arcade type hockey games it's a left/right brain adjustment for some, as the players will move the opposite direction we initially expect and has a longer stick and or unique goalie compared to skaters though more subtle than most conventional hockey games.

I'll ad 2 links soon of something which will interest you I think, I'll lyk when and where here http://tablehockey-discussion.2665692.n2.nabble.com/100-THe-book-td7578699.html
