Hello all. We hope to once again livestream some games during the Friday night Coleco tournament and the Saturday Stiga event. Playoffs more likely.

We'll post a notice in this thread when we go live.

Hello all. Congrats to Carlo Bossio, who defeated Sam Anoussis 3-1 in a Best of 5 finals to capture the Motor City Classic 5380 for the second year in a row.

The first game was a defensive struggle, you might say. Sam took it 7-6, I believe. Sam was up 3-0 in Game 2, but Carlo roared back to win. I think that's what happened. So exhausted I can't remember. All four games of the finals were taped and will be archived by the morning on the Ustream page (scroll up).

Last year, Carlo beat Gino in the finals. This year, Gino took third place over Dr. Lou Marinoff, who had a strong showing in the round robin and playoffs.

B pool went to John Fayolle over Antonio Ferrara. Third was Eric Krol over John Medema.

And Eric Davis took the C pool honors over Shawn Redmond (Deadly Redly). Bronze went to Alan Kopas, a Detroit area guy who made his tournament debut and stayed to the end.

Thanks everyone for coming out and playing. It was a great group of guys and good sportsmanship all around.

In about 8 hours, I'll wake up and crawl to the room to set up for the Stiga tournament. I forgot my tripod mount thingie at home...it fell out of the tripod, I guess. So the playoff video tomorrow will be a little less stable than I'd hoped.

I will post a notice tomorrow night when we get on the air.

Eric

So we are at the sports bar.

Bruce Turner 4-1 finals over Eric Davis.

Reggie 2-0 Kent for third.

Don't call it a comeback. Bruce Turner is back.

Thanks Eric and John for a great tourney in Detroit! Started by Paul Brotz! My partner Bruce Turner I have never been more proud of! Even myself can`t believe it! Coming back from Peru and winning so soon! I must be a good sparing partner and coach! Yes coach because Bruce`s win years back in Philadelphia against Kenny in the final came from good coaching advice. But anyways Bruce has some special qualities to get the job done! Too bad he not stay in Canada because I know he can make some big noise in Table Hockey! Maybe it still not too late! Maybe he can still make that noise! Detroit shows it! Maybe Bruce will go to the World Championship someday and make some noise. Maybe or maybe not? Who knows? But for myself I have never been more proud of my friend Bruce! The Detroit win was special!
