Hey Gang,

It's nice to see my old friend Antonio coming out of his hibernation. He sleeps longer than a bear.
No Matter....

He has asked that I help him in the implementation of the event.

As he mentioned, this will be a "Multi Board Event"
And I'm pleased to announce that it is going to be a real Multi board and the winner will truly be the "King" of Table Hockey... Sorry Carlo...

Here's why, We will have no less then 7-8,9,10 different games on hand. We will be playing a "Blind" schedule.
This means that each participant will be assigned a letter at sign up and the letter will correspond to their schedule.
The games will be labelled with a Number and the number on your schedule will be the games you play on. Each game you play will have a different number attached to it.

Since this is a "Blind" format, You must keep your schedule to yourself until you show up at your table to play... (No sharing your information).

Those that are successful will be the ones that adapt to the games they play on.

Also the play-offs will be as such that once a game is played on, it can't be used again during that series.
Also games will be drawn from available games and the lower seeded player draws from a bag first.
This will be the ultimate in random "Multi-Board Table Hockey"

So far games being used in the event.

Coleco "S" Slot
PP2
Stiga
Howitzer (Hybrid PP2/Coleco "S" slot)
Gamesroom
Coleco Straight Slot Yellow Stick
Munro - Bobby Orr Gold Cup
Munro Canadian - wooden Puck
Wayne Gretzky
Wee Play

And one Mystery Game!

Yes, I'm aware that some of you have not played on some of these games but table hockey is table hockey.

Due to space, we are going to cap the venue to 42 players.

As Antonio stated, the venue is in an excellent location for all to attend.

Located just north of the 401 off of Brock road in Pickering.

The room is large enough to accommodate us. Like other venues food is available on site and a strict policy of "No Food from Outside" it's common sense.

We currently have 5 players signed on and they are:

Sid Kloosterman - Peterborough
Lee Coleshill - Port Hope
Landon Coleshill - Port Hope
Austin MacDonald - Brighton
Josh Kloosterman - Brighton
Warren Morris - Ottawa
Joey Bolic - Oakville
Mark Solkolski - Peterborough
Glenn Bernabe - Toronto
Dave Kraehling - Mississauga
Antonio Ferrara - Ajax

Here are the Maybe List:
Chris Nicolades - Toronto
Michel Decarie - Montreal
Michael Brossard - Montreal
Merv Reutlinger - ?
Bruce Turner - Kitchener
Greg Babiak - Etobicoke
Bill Holdcroft - Lakefield
Byron Yee - Toronto

Let us know here should you decide to attend.....
$20.00 is an amazing price for a day of fun.
Lets have some Table Hockey Fun.....

Hello Eric,

The event was a huge success.

Paul, if I may direct people to the Ontario website?

Eric visit the OTHA website for all photos and tournament stats.

ontariotablehockey.com

We have a Munro BBQ this weekend in Mississauga which is the 5th Annual.

BTW,
I won the Multi Board over Mark Sokolski.

Eric,

We used the double knock out format for the play-offs.
I'll send you an email with the excel format breakdown.

The play-offs consisted of a two game total points and if it was tied a sudden death one goal game was played.

The lower seeded player drew out of a hat the 3 games that would be played on during the series.
It actually went off without a hitch.

The general consensus was a great format.
