Coin-op games value is generally mostly in the "backglass".

The top 5 Hockey Game backglasses...

1) http://www.pinrepair.com/baseball/playhoc.htm (pre hockey game backglass, backboard) (see THe book 1939 Mutoscope).

2) http://www.pinrepair.com/baseball/allhock.htm (1941 1st electric 1 vs 1 hockey game. Approximately 300 pounds. The backglass frame is usually rounded not squared, adding to the styleish appearance).

3) http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=2433&picno=8026 (1949 1st hockey pinball game. Dark blue/purple backglass variation especially attractive).

4) http://www.pinrepair.com/gtb/twinhoc.htm (1952 fascinating game, thought to have only been produced as a prototype- read both links) http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=3762

5) http://www.pinrepair.com/baseball/cchock.htm (1958 Note #7 smoking a cigarette).

Enjoy the holidays and Happy New Year!!
BTW- these games are not TH, we all need to have a balance of interests, especially at this time of year ho ho ho.
