The kick plate is yellow acrylic.

nice... was it custom cut that thin on a CNC router or was it already that width?

They cut it for me at 12" lengths, and I pieced it together. I used a heat gun to mould the corner pieces, and they gave me a tube of acrylic adhesive to mount them to the lexan boards. Worked like a charm.

The thickness is 1/8". They ran out of white and had to use black, but you can't really see it. Given the choice I would go with white though.
