Silent woman in the night, you came
Took the seed from my shakin' frame
Same old fire, another flame
And the wheel rolls on
Silent moves through the flames, you come
From the deep behind the sun
Gives me nightmares, my love has gone
Left me barely holdin' on, oh... oh
With blazin' eyes I see my tremblin' hands
When we know the time has come
Lose many senses, lose command
Feel your healin' rivers run
Is it every time I fall, That I think this is the one
Ooh, in the darkness can you hear me call
Another day has just begun... another day, yeah, Ooh
Sud'en'y all of my face is changed,
Some know wha' it has become
Feel my fire needs a brand-new flame, And the wheel rolls on
Rolls on, Rolls on, Rolls on, eunh, Eunhwhoauhohh
Monday January 28 at 9:45 am players need to be signed
in. Once at the South Point ask for the Lets Play
Hockey Expo. They will direct you to the expo which is
held in the expo center behind the South Point. When
there ask for the Table Hockey tournament.
Thanks and see you soon!
Everything is 3/4s ready. Jim won't be online for days, so until my departure saturday before 6 ET, those who will play the event on monday can send a PM here if you need to know something, I'll definitely reply before I'm off to Vegas!
Is he really going to show up? I haven't seen anything from him in months.
WOW!!! over 4000 views on this LV post.
~Paul
Paul, you must have viewed this thread 2000 times?
4000 views, how come there are only a few who will actually be there?
We're getting ready. Only 3 days left before the first face-off.
Remember, folks; the Let's play hockey international expo is at the start of the week, when the hotels are cheap... no way would there be such an event held over the week-end!!! So Jim does have Doug Johnson and Wally Shaver of Let's Play Hockey and Bill Parker of Stiga USA on his side!!! Hope next year you will get ready for it, as the venue is really nice!!!
Monte Carlo fire is out. Burned across the roof. Sprinklers did their job. No fatalities reported. Traffic is heavy with the major interstate at a crawl. Excellent work by the LV Fire Dept. and Clark County Fire Dept. Stiga Vegas is on!
Pierre, other TH afficianados, the fire at the Monte Carlo Resort was confined to the roof and about three stories below basically where the high roller and deluxe suites are located. At most Las Vegas Strip properties the top floors are filled with deluxe accomodations for very wealthy national and international guests. I have been up to some of the most palatial digs you can imagine at some properties. Their resplendent with jacuzzi tubs, filled with marble, tile and granite accents, one of a kind art work and luxurious amenities that a king would marvel at. Trust me the Monte Carlo will clean up the charred infrastructure on its roof, rebuild the damaged rooms to even more palatial standards and emerge as a first class Las Vegas Resort. Last night I took Jim Rzonca and his friend Glen over to Las Vegas's newest state of the art resort the Palazzo. The Palazzo opened just ten days ago. Its fresh, its vibrant and it is beautiful. I took Jim and Glen on a tour of the property and then into its adjacent sister property, the Venetian Resort. We walked along the huge indoor canals that mimic that of Venice and into the indoor St. Marks Square to swill a Heinekken and check out the scenery. You see Las Vegas learned from a tragic 1980 fire at the old MGM Grand Hotel now called Bally's when a fire swept through the whole property and 84 people died along with close to 700 injured. Las Vegas leaders adopted the most stringent fire ordinances in the country. Last night when I took Jim and Glen to the Palazzo and we parked underground I pointed out the extensive pressurized water network that is basicaly affixed to the superstructure of any of the new Las Vegas Strip resorts. In case of fire state of the art sprinkler systems go off in addition to ventilation systems that literallly suck the oxygen away from fire sources thus limiting their potential to spread. Ask Jim or Glen...they got to see the Las Vegas of now and how it is the most radically transcending place on earth. Doubt that assertion then look at Las Vegas's next mega resort Project City Center being built ironically between Monte Carlo and Bellagio. The government of Dubai just pumped $10 billion into the project. That ain't chump change my friends and this town just keeps getting better. I'm in the process of sprucing up my vintage table hockey game collection for an all out display next January. Hope to see you guys who can't attend the 2008 event next year. I'll introduce you to Bill Parker of Stiga, show you the town and we can blast off into a weekend of table hockey. Alll the best. Vegas had a little fire today but we are still standing!
Hey Jeff M. or John L., if you see Jim or Pierre soon could you let them know that Matt DiDimizio won't be making it to Vegas. His father died and he had to cancel. I'm not sure if they got the message.

BIG THANKS some partners who made things happen. Most importantly first and foremost to Stigs Las Vegas Tournament Director Pierre Chastenais from Montreal! This one he should be PROUD of. Things ran like a clock on time and ended around 9 pm with no hitches. He calmly nailed it with a smile thru out the day. He spun the wheel, the 3 groups he split proved to be very competitive groups all thru the finals.
Thank goodness Vegas Jay rolled a 7 for us with his gal Alida. She was patient and at ease throughout. Very skilled on the computer she could have handled more as she was a machine in this event. Mr Reliable ~ Jeff Mancini! " I know where you live man" !! LOL! You da man Jeff! Thanks bro! Johnny Labs ~ John hatched a batch of Las Vegas table hockey players and HELPS in every way i ask. Johnny Labs is SOILD. Jeff Thill showed he was a great Stiga player too! What a great showing defeating Reggie and Bernd in playoff series finishing 3rd. We are very proud of Jeff Thill. He IS our Chicago future. Paul Brotz MOST IMPROVED PLAYER. Pauls super competitive and its showing in his excellent play. PLUS posting info on the event for the public was super HELPFUL.
Vegas Jay takes out a Mr Thill for the pretty C trophy? Rich is a vet Jay. You sand baggin on us Jay? LOL... You are a very good player in a very short time. Thank you for your generous Flamingo comps as well!!!
The B finals was action packed! Those whose attended got there moneys worth. Las Vegas is the fight capital of the World folks. No harm, No foul. Its LAS VEGAS. No place better than LAS VEGAS to let it all hang out!
